Ania is built by Diatech (Brazil). The site UI is Portuguese-first with English and
many other languages; prices are shown in BRL for Brazil and in US$ elsewhere.

## Key facts

- Real-time lip-sync: voice detection and animation run locally on the device; no
  audio is sent to Ania's servers.
- Avatar format: `.ania` — a frame-based character with pre-rendered states (idle,
  talking, greeting, thinking, yes/no, celebration and more; 18 states available).
- AI avatar creation: describe a character, pick a style (Anime, Comics, Cyberpunk,
  Realistic, Watercolor, Ghibli-like, Arcane-like, Renaissance or free text) and the
  states; the price is quoted before any charge. Reference: a 2-state avatar at 480p
  is quoted at R$4.20 (about US$0.84).
- Credits: prepaid, 1 credit = R$1; non-Brazilian users see a fixed US$0.20 per credit.
- Custom wake words (e.g. "hey studio") for Ania Player and voice assistants:
  US$4.98 (R$24.90), English (en-US) or Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR); launch discount
  on the first wake word until 2026-12-30.
- Marketplace: free and paid avatars; creators keep 83% of each sale (Stripe Connect);
  every listing is moderated.
- AI assistants: remote MCP connector (OAuth) to quote, create, review and install
  avatars from an assistant; every spend needs the user's explicit approval and each
  connection has a monthly cap. npm package: `ania-mcp`.
- Developers: `ania-avatar-react` (npm) and web components embed a talking avatar in
  any site or chatbot.
